Tim is a gifted coach, guiding people through a strategic process to help them to accurately identify their life purpose, to inspire and excite them to act on that calling, and turn it into a solid plan of action. A talented teacher, Tim regularly runs Halftime’s workshops, and his own business background and leadership experience gives him unique insights and wisdom, making him a much sought-after coach.

His own strategic management skills have enabled him to build and develop several highly successful businesses. Tim has successfully built a funds management company, was the director of a financial planning firm that now has over 80 offices throughout Australia, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. His insight and analytical abilities have seen him serve in government and private enterprises, as well as helping not for profit organisations to develop successful strategies and vision for growth.

Community Engagement

In 1995 Tim and his wife, Sharon were greatly impacted by the suicides of eight members of their local community. He felt motivated and empowered by God to set up New Directions, now a successful and growing community church that helps people to find life balance and pursue their life purpose.

Tim and Sharon have successfully developed and built a landmark entertainment and business centre in Riverside, Launceston on the banks of the Tamar River. This state-of-the-art hub is home to four different businesses that positively impact the people and community of Launceston in different ways.

For eight years Tim was a member of the board of Willow Creek Australia, and is currently a Director of Empart Australia – previously known as Compassion for India. A dynamic Christian organisation, Empart is transforming communities throughout Asia by planting churches, establishing children’s homes, schools and women’s tailoring centres.

Tim and Sharon live with their three children in Launceston, Tasmania where he enjoys bush walking, water sports, and beachcombing.
